Sales Engineer – CNC Tooling

My client is a well respected manufacturer and supplier of high quality machine tool accessories including toolholders, solid carbide tools and tooling inserts.
The Role:
The primary focus of business is supplying a range of tungsten carbide tooling and tool holders to decision makers in the manufacturing sector. The majority of these customers are owners, operators and suppliers of CNC machine tools. You will be maintaining and building on an existing loyal customer base while identifying opportunities to further expand the company’s market share.
The Candidate:
Requisite for this role are the following criteria. Please read carefully and make sure you tick all boxes before sending your resume.
- Trade background in an Engineering discipline – preferably Mech Eng, Toolmaking or Fitting & Machining
- Good working knowledge of CNC machinery, feeds, speeds and machining conditions.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- A crisp, clear articulation of the English language
- A natural sales demeanour with well developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Not afraid of cold calling
- Good computer literacy
Previous field sales experience selling tooling or accessories to the manufacturing industry will be well regarded but not essential as full company training will be given. More important is a natural sales ability and a technically astute mindset.
